On December 22, 2025, a delegation from the Saudi MISK Foundation (Mohammed bin Salman Foundation) visited Unilumin Daya Bay Factory for an exchange session. Due to its sustained efforts and project implementation in the Middle East markets in recent years, Unilumin was selected by the delegation as one of the representative Chinese enterprises for this visit. This event also served as a key component of the delegation’s China trip in December, specifically during their stop in Shenzhen.
The Saudi MISK Foundation was established in 2011 by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. It is one of the most influential youth development and social innovation institutions in Saudi Arabia, dedicated to cultivating talent in education, entrepreneurship, leadership, and culture. Its flagship initiative, the Saudi Leadership Society, has brought together over 800 high-level members from government, business, and academia.
James Li, President of the Sales and Service System of Unilumin; Breeze Ho, General Manager of the International Marketing Center; and Dr. Li Yuchen, Vice President of the Group, along with other senior executives, warmly received the delegation.
The delegation first visited the Unilumin Metasight showroom, where they experienced cutting-edge LED technologies up close, including Micro LED and XR virtual production, as well as scenario-based solutions for commercial displays, cultural performances, and virtual production. The high brightness, clarity, realism, and immersive visual presentation left a vivid and lasting impression on the attendees.
Then, the delegation visited Unilumin’s COB smart manufacturing workshop to gain an in‑depth understanding of the company’s core capabilities in high‑end display manufacturing. In response to the trend toward chip miniaturization, Unilumin has developed compatible products such as 0606 and 0404, continuously advancing the iteration and cost reduction of MIP and COB technologies. Leveraging ultra‑high‑precision substrate technology, Unilumin is dedicated to achieving stable mass production and applications of ever‑smaller LED chips across multiple scenarios, including commercial displays, outdoor displays, distribution, and creative installations. This effort solidifies the manufacturing foundation for the large‑scale implementation of high‑end LED display solutions.
During the exchange session, both sides engaged in in‑depth discussions on topics including the expansion of the LED display and lighting ecosystem, corporate globalization strategies, and innovation‑driven development. In the context of globalization, going global has become a strategic imperative for Chinese enterprises. Drawing on its own internationalization experience, Unilumin shared insights and reflections with the delegation regarding localized operations and the synergy of the LED ecosystem.
In recent years, Unilumin has successfully delivered a series of benchmark projects in Saudi Arabia, including the Riyadh Season, Jeddah Season festivities, the Esports World Cup (EWC), and the Saudi General Aviation Airshow Sand & Fun. These projects span diverse application scenarios such as smart cities, commercial displays, sports events, and large‑scale stage productions. Furthermore, in September 2024, Unilumin officially launched its Overseas Service Center in Saudi Arabia, further enhancing local service capabilities and providing customers with more efficient, professional, and comprehensive one‑stop solutions.
